Custom Art-Based Workshops

Innovative and Engaging Art Connection Workshops for Teams and Organizations Combining Self-Development, Looking at Art, and Making Art

The Art Connection Circle for Organizations

The Art Connection Circle is an innovative program that combines looking at and discussing diverse and engaging works of art with self discovery, intimate community, and a deep connection to the human spirit. In the Circle workshops, Cindy Ingram leads participants through interactive (and fun!) art interpretation and connection activities designed to teach participants about themselves, help them understand their values and beliefs, connect with their peers on a deeper level, and vision into the life they dream of creating for themselves.

This is a program like none you have ever experienced, and words cannot convey the magic and energy that comes from bringing people together around a work of art. You don’t have to be an “art person” to get immense personal value and deep connection to art and others from this unique program.

Custom Workshop Themes

The content of the workshops are customized and curated to meet the individual goals of the organization.

Topics can include (but are not limited to):

  • Creativity
  • Visioning
  • Discovering your Values
  • Burnout/Overwhelm
  • Work/Life Balance
  • Mindfulness
  • Emotional Literacy
  • Authenticity
  • Connection
  • Limiting Beliefs
  • Team-building
  • and more…

Meet the Goals of Your Organization

After a meeting with you about your organization’s goals, Cindy will curate the artworks and activities to fit your needs.

Each workshop is unique as the art and activities are only one piece of the puzzle. The content really is in the room within the hearts and minds of the participants. The workshop is highly interactive, and each participant will get the chance to share their experiences and insights in a safe and supportive environment. Past participants have been surprised at how deep we can get when we gather around a work of art.

About Your Facilitator, Cindy Ingram

Connecting with works of art and crafting innovative learning activities are Cindy’s superpowers, and she has dedicated her life to bringing the magic of art connection to others. A former art museum educator and art teacher, Cindy has supported teachers and their students through her work as founder and CEO of Art Class Curator since 2014. Cindy is passionate about taking art out of dark, stuffy lecture halls and out of the pretentious gatekeeping of “the art world” and into the hearts, minds, and lives of everyone.

Cindy Ingram has a BA in Art History and a MA in Art Education. She has over 20 years experience discussing art and leading workshops for people of all ages and backgrounds. She is an expert workshop facilitator and is a masterful creator of safe spaces. She is a Certified Professional Coach with the International Coaching Federation with sub-certifications in Breathwork, Emotional Freedom Techniques, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Her art media of choice is mixed media and collage in her art journal.

In this program, Cindy combines her art and teaching expertise with her obsession of philosophy, personal development, and coaching to create a unique take on both how to engage with art and how to use art as a tool for self discovery, clarity, and action.

Testimonials

The Art Connection Circle was more meaningful than any college class I’ve taken, any professional development training, anything. There’s nothing else like this.
Bridget King

Art Teacher, Idaho

Cindy is truly excellent at creating a safe space for the group to share, explore, and feel heard. I was never worried that I was going to say the wrong thing or that I couldn’t say something that I wanted to say because of how it would be reacted to. That safe space allowed us to create deep bonds.
Julie Lynn

Peer Specialist

I was really surprised at how deep we were able to get in such a short time. It’s amazing how a piece of artwork can really transition you into so many other aspects to think about, whether it’s the art, your life or someone else’s, or what’s happening in the world.
Amanda Dale

Content Creator, She's a Mad Gardener

Art touches me in ways that I maybe have never been in tune with or haven’t been in touch with in a long time. It tapes into everything in my heart, in my soul. In the Art Connection Circle, I can stay in touch with my most genuine, honest self.
Yvonne Anderson

Social Studies Teacher, Georgia

The self-awareness I gained from the Art Connection Circle was profound. I realized how important it is for my actions to line up with my values and also what a strong hold past voices have on how I think about myself now. In the safe and non-judgemental space of the circle, I learned to always be true to myself.
Gwen Evseichik

Museum Docent, Wisconsin
